Consumer Rights

You 'the consumer' are covered by The Consumer Contracts Regulations - which came into force on 13 June 2014 and implement the Consumer Rights Directive - give you rights when shopping online

Adoption Packs -

All Adoption Packs will be sent out as soon as payment has been received. Please allow up to 10 working days of payment to receive your pack. Once the Adoption Pack is in your possession we cannot refund or replace any packs if they have been lost or stolen.  If you receive the wrong adoption pack please contact us asap using our contact details provided on the website.

Memberships -

Membership packs will be sent out as soon as payment has been received. Please allow up to 10 working days of first payment to receive your pack. You reserve the right to cancel your membership at any time. 

Gift Aid - 

If you are a UK tax payer, as a charity we can reclaim 25p per £1 of your donation from the UK Government. If you wish to do this then we will send a Gift Aid Declaration by post to you in your purchase which must then be filled out, signed and returned to us.

Gift Vouchers And Bird Of Prey Experiences - 

All gift vouchers bought from Avon Owls will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Once the voucher is in your possession we cannot offer any refunds or replace them if they have been lost or stolen. When you arrive for your experience please bring your voucher with you, you must treat this as cash and not a receipt.

Avon Owls reserves the right to cancel and rearrange any bird of prey experiences due to bad weather or emergencies. If this is the case we will contact you regarding rearranging your experience. We try to rearrange experiences as soon as possible. If we have had to keep cancelling due to weather conditions or any other reason we may extend the valid date.

Our Returns Policy -

We want you to be happy with your purchase, so here at Avon Owls we have set up a returns policy, please see below -

  • If you have changed your mind - Please contact us within 14 days so we can arrange your refund. If returning a voucher you must return it within 14 days of purchase. You can find our contact details on our website.
  • Exchanging or replacing a product - Please contact us if you wish to exchange or replace a product. You will have to contact us using our details provided on our website and if in stock we will replace or exchange the product.
  • Product has arrived damaged/faulty - If any of our products arrive damaged or are faulty, please contact us and we will arrange a like-for-like product to replace the damaged/faulty item. If you are contacting us via email please send a picture of the damaged/faulty item.
  • Return Charges - If you are returning a damaged or faulty item, we will pay the cost of the return postage charge. If your return is for any other reason other than damaged or faulty, you are responsible for the postage charge. Please note - If you do not return the product within 30 days, you will be responsible for postage charges and/or the cost of us recovering that product from you.

Delivery Information -

Please note - We aim to get all purchases out within 3 working days upon receipt of payment. If you have not received your purchase within 14 workings days please contact us on details provided on our website. Unforeseen circumstances may delay your purchase, if this is the case we will contact you to inform you of this.

If you are purchasing from anywhere that is not the UK please contact us before purchasing as postage charges on our website is based on UK addresses only. 

Website Changes - 

Avon Owls reserves the right to change any items within our shop or to amend our website whenever it is needed. Adoption packs and membership packs are subject to change.
